Researchers are investigating the use of biopolymers and biocomposites in art furniture design and production. They are also developing ways to incorporate biorenewable materials in building designs.

To ensure industry adoption, it is important that biobased products are thoroughly tested. Researchers are developing processing techniques to evaluate new material performance.
