- Shelf-life extension and nutritive value retention
Vorst received his BS (Purdue University), MS (Michigan State University), and PhD (Michigan State University) in Food Manufacturing, Food Science and Packaging, and has worked in private industry for three major food packaging companies and directed projects for the USDA.
