Environmental Sustainability at PepsiCo

PepsiCo is one of the world’s largest food and beverage companies, with annualized revenues of more than $60 billion. The company is committed to sustainable growth and defines its strategy as Performance with Purpose, which mean generating healthy financial returns while giving back to communities the company serves. The three planks of Performance with Purpose are human sustainability, talent sustainability and environmental sustainability. In environmental sustainability, key focus areas are energy, water, and packaging/solid waste. Major initiatives for Frito-Lay North America, a business unit of PepsiCo, are a “Net-Zero” plant, partnerships with government and non-governmental organizations, and renewably resourced packaging.
